    The worst car insurance is the policy that you failed to purchase, or allowed to lapse.  That policy will not pay anything on a claim.  The next worse is the policy with limits that are too low.  The policy may pay some benefits but the benefits can be exhausted while the accident still needs a great deal more money.  The third worst is the policy that is serviced by a computer or call center.  When you need help, advice, and solace, it is hard to turn to a person in India or some electrons on a circuit board.
