No, vehicles are not part of the home and are not personal property.  This is a common misconception about vehicle coverage.  Many people believe their home insurance will cover vehicles if they are in a garage, this is simply not true.  Home insurance will exclude "vehicles" which is normally defined as "anything with a motor, unless it is used to services the premises." - so if you have a lawn mower or snowblower, and it is only used to service the premises (mow your own lawn, blow your own snow) then it is covered as personal property.  If you use it for hire to make money, you should cover it under business insurance.  A snowmobile, motorcycle, car, boat are not used to service the premises, so would be excluded.  Even vehicle parts are generally excluded by homeowner's insurance.
