How Long Does It Take For A Home Insurance Claim To Be Settled?

If for example, you had a burst pipe in your home causing water damage, something like that can be settled in a matter of days. If on the other hand your house was seriously damaged by fire to the point where it was a total loss, final settlements and finished re construction could take a year or more.Answered on February 4, 2014flag this answer
