Can Tricare Be Primary To Medicare?
- 37376 POINTSview profileDavid G. Pipes, CLU®, RICP®Business Development Officer, T.D. McNeil Insurance Services, Fresno, CaliforniaOnce you reach age 65 all of your health care providers will send bills to Medicare. After Medicare pays their benefit, the bill will be sent to Tricare. This process is relatively seamless. In fact your health care provider will often advise your bill to both Medicare and Tricare prior to rendering services. Any amount that you owe will be computed and normally collected before you are treated.Answered on March 20, 2014flag this answer
