Does Renters Insurance Cover Bug Infestation?
- 14231 POINTSview profileTom SheehanAgency Owner, The Thomas G Sheehan Agency, 27 Glen Road Sandy Hook, CT 06482It is always best to check with your Insurance Profesional about the terms and conditions of your policy, but in general, no this would more than likely not be covered. Renters' policies, much the same as other propery policies like Homeowners' or Condo Unit Owners' policies, will list both the perils covered and those excluded. Generally speaking damage caused by insects and vermin are excluded.Answered on January 6, 2014flag this answer
