   Yes you can obtain auto insurance with a DUI. Not all insurance companies will take a client with a DUI buy there are many that will. My suggestion is to contact an independent agent who can look at multiple companies to find you the best rates for your current situation.

   Probably yes, but plan that you won't be paying the best rates.  There is one catch to consider as well, however.  If along with the DUI, your License has been suspended, then obtaining insurance with a suspended license will be tough.  If that is the situation, you will probably have to wait until your license is reinstated before getting insurance.

   Let me add one other point to these answers. Any company that takes you is taking a big chance that you will reform your driving habits and not take the wheel while impaired by alcohol, drugs or medicine. That chance for you to reform will be totally shattered by another instance of the same thing. So, while you may be able to secure, insurance now, don't press your luck as second instance will have huge consequences
