Does Renters Insurance Cover Food Spoilage?

   It really depends on the type of coverage you have....most insurance carriers add food spoilage due to a covered loss by endorsement only. Under some comprehensive renter's coverage, it could be added automatically. Contact your agent to see if the coverage exists.
