   More than likely not your renters insurance. It really depends on the cause of the water damage. If the damage is caused from a broken pipe or water coming from another unit then liability coverage of the landlords policy or the other tenants renters policy may come into play for payment of the claim. Remember every policy is different. Please read your policy completely to understand the coverage provided and any exclusions that there may be or contact your local agent to have them go over the policy with you.
