When To File Auto Insurance Claim?
- 16470 POINTSview profileDavid OsgoodAgent, Rural Mutual Insurance Co., Union Grove, WIAs soon as you can. The longer that you wait to file a claim the longer it will take for you to receive restitution. The sooner your carrier receives notice of a claim the faster that they will be able to get you the money that is due to you for your loss.Answered on October 18, 2013flag this answer

My suggestion is that you contact your Insurance Professional as soon as it is possible for you to do so safely so that they can guide you through the process. Taking the time to gather as much information as possible is always helpful, but certainly get in touch with them the day of the loss if at all possible. Property and losses may cause damage that can get worse over time so getting the ball rolling as soon as possible is in your very best interest.Answered on August 24, 2015flag this answer
