Which Federal Health Insurance Plan Is The Best?
- 1575 POINTSview profileChristopher LawrenceInsurance Broker | Financial Consultant, Lawrence Insurance Consulting, Southern New JerseyBest is a subjective term that relies on the factors that you use to qualify it. That being said the different health insurance options available on the FFM(Federally Facilitated Marketplace) are- Platinum-90%, Gold80%, Silver 70%, Bronze 60%, and Catastrophic- Which is only available for individuals under 30, doesn't qualify for subsidies, and only offers limited coverage for more serious medical situations. The percentage value is the amount that will be covered by a plan for a qualified medical expense.Answered on October 1, 2013flag this answer
