Can You Get Car Insurance With Just A Permit?

You should be able to be added to an existing auto policy in the household until you are able to secure your regular license.Answered on October 25, 2013flag this answer

I am making the assumption that you are currently living with your parents' so my recomendation would be to have a conversation with their Insurance Professional. The car could be registered in a paren't name and added to their policy for now, then, if it was beneficial to all of you, after you receive your drivers' license, the title could then be transferred to you which would then require you to have your own policy in most states.Answered on August 7, 2015flag this answer
