Unfortunately, you cannot get disability insurance in Kentucky, at least not a policy that would not have an exclusion for pregnancy and childbirth, while you are pregnant. This is true for all 50 states in the US. Short term disability insurance will cover normal pregnancy and childbirth, and long term disability insurance will cover complications of pregnancy and childbirth. But that coverage must be purchased before becoming pregnant.

Disability insurance policies typically have a 9 month to one year waiting period before they will cover pregnancy and childbirth.  If you are considering having children, that is the time to sign up for the short-term disability.  You may also want to consider a policy with a shorter elimination period.  The elimination period is how long you must be out of work before the policy starts paying.
Many policies have four weeks or longer elimination periods.  The policy will only pay as long as the doctor says you need to be out of work, not how long your company allows you to be off work.  The policy also only pays a portion of your salary, typically around 50% to 60%.  If you don’t get a disability policy through work, the next best option is often professional associations.  You can also get an individual policy through an insurance agent.
