    In the state of Florida you must have liability coverage of at least $10,000 per incident and $20,000 maximum with $10,000 in personal property. 

    These are the required minimums for the state of Florida.

    If you have a loan on the care you cover, your bank will also require comprehensive (collision) insurance as well.
