How Does Health Insurance Work In Nebraska?

    I do not sell health insurance in Nebraska, but I have it, and it works like health insurance does in every other state. One of the great benefits we have is CHIPS (Nebraska Comprehensive Health Insurance Pool) that is for people who cannot get health insurance without restrictions elsewhere, due to a medical condition. Unfortunately, this program is ending at the end of December. Hopefully the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act that replaces it will work as well.
