    Great question! The answer is no - you typically will have coverage for 30 days afterwards. You have the option  to keep your coverage after that by enrolling in COBRA, (and your  employer should provide you with those forms) but you should know that it can be very expensive - you pay both yours and the employers portions of the cost, plus 10% more.
