Can You Deduct Homeowners Insurance On A Rental Property?
- 12689 POINTSview profileTed RatliffOwner, SFS Associates,This is more of a question for a tax adviser, however based on my knowledge the answer would be yes, insurance on a rental property would be a deductible expense in most situations. Any business can deduct business expenses paid. Since rental property is a source of income, any expenses related to that property would be deductible.Answered on June 29, 2013flag this answer
