Will Renters Insurance Pay For A Hotel?
- 7647 POINTSview profileMark Bartlett CLCSBranch Owner, TWFG Insurance Services, Fremont California and the Greater Bay Area Representing Dozens of Insurance CarriersRenters Insurance polices have a coverage called loss of use or additional living expense. How this coverage works is: If there was a covered loss such as a fire for example that caused you to move out of your residence, because the residence became unlivable due to the loss then your renters policy under the additional living expanse coverage would pick up the Hotel for temporary housing until you were able to move back in.Answered on June 28, 2013flag this answer
