Does Medicare Cover Tooth Extractions?
- 63333 POINTSview profilePeggy MaceMost of the U.S.Medicare does not usually cover tooth extractions. There are some exceptions, including extractions done to prepare for radiation treatment, extractions done as part of treatment for disease or reconstruction from an accident, or possibly extractions involving bones of the jaw and mouth. In these cases, Medicare Part B may cover the extraction.Answered on June 27, 2013flag this answer
