Based on my experience so far in the industry within my geographic location; I have seen rates be as high as five hundred dollars a month. Grant you this is an extreme rate case. Most rates that I see for prospects and clients range from about thirty to one hundred fifty dollars per month depending on the level and types of coverage requested.

If your friend asked you to pay for damages to his car, and the liability of operating the car would you charge him the same if he had a Prius or a Corvette?  Would you charge him differently if he drove it 20,000 miles a month versus 500?  Would you charge him differently if he was in an urban or rural setting?  Would you charge him differently if he had a recent DUI?  Those are some of the considerations that an insurance company makes when determining the premium for a policy.

That is a great question, with unfortunately, a horrible answer. There really isn't a number that I can give you, because of all of the things your company will look at to determine your rate. Your age, the car, the number of miles you drive it to work each day, where you live, your driving and credit histories, these are just some of the things that make a difference in your rate. Best thing to do is find a couple of local agents, and have them give you quotes, ok? Good luck, and thanks for asking!
