Legislation has been proposed to include payment for LPC's under Medicare part B. As of now, only Licensed Clinical Social Workers, PhD Psychologists, and Psychiatrists are able to be reimbursed by Medicare for persons needing counseling.Answered on July 28, 2013flag this answer
