    According to the Affordable Care Act, you must have health insurance by Jan 1st, 2014. The plans that you can choose from will be available to look at and purchase starting October 1st, 2013. I suggest that you work with a licensed insurance agent so you'll have the most choice and will get the best plan at the most affordable price.
