    No, glasses are not covered by Medicare except for one pair provided after cataract surgery. Eye exams (refraction exams) and the eyeglasses that are prescribed to correct and improve sight are unfortunately not covered for eyesight lost due to normal aging, or even eyesight lost impaired prior to cataract surgery.
