Is An Autopsy Required For Life Insurance?
- 255 POINTSview profileDave LinPrincipal, Linwood Forest Insurance Group, PennsylvaniaNo, an autopsy isn't required to get life insurance. I would think all the insurance companies will automatically decline someone if they are already dead. Now, if you are talking about a paramed; than yes and no. Some life companies requires you to be fully underwritten for certain products while others have life insurance products without the blood work and urine test. Some even offer life insurance with just a few simple questions. It is best to talk to a licensed insurance agent to find a product to fit your needs.Answered on June 19, 2013flag this answer
