    I think this question depends on who you ask, as this is a politically charged question. As far as I can tell, $716 billion was cut from the Medicare Advantage Program. The Obama administration claims the was not a cut, because they were going to reduce payments for hospital services, skilled nursing services, hospice and other Medicare services. Of course, that was met with a lot of negative feedback on both sides of the aisle so it's unclear if those cuts are actually going to take place. But if the cuts don't take place, how would the $716 billion be paid back into the Medicare fund? To some extent, the jury is still out on this one.
