		<description><![CDATA[I don&#039;t know of any studies out there that have provided the information that you are asking for. In my limited experience, I would make a guess that the number is somewhere around 30% or less. This is really concerning as renters insurance is typically very low cost. What happens if there is a fire in your building in another apartment and this in turn causes damage to your apartment making it unlivable? If you had renters insurance you would typically have funds available to find another place to reside and funds to replace any personal items that may have been damaged. Remember every carrier and every policy is different. Read your policy completely to understand the coverage offered and the exclusions that it may have.]]></description>
