		<description><![CDATA[An Immediate Annuity generally speaking does not have a surrender period.  In fact, if you set up an Immediate Annuity, you are giving your monies to the insurance company in exchange for a guaranteed payout depending on how you set this up.

There is a company however that after 3 years will allow you to surrender or take a partial withdrawal of the funds remaining.
