		<description><![CDATA[What you can and cannot do is subject to the rules of the 401(k) plan which was established by your employer.  Get a copy of the plan to determine if you can do this.  There are always alternatives but basically you want to preserve the tax identity of all retirement funds because there is different treatment in retirement for various sorts of funding.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Per IRS rules, you CANNOT rollover a Variable Annuity to a 401(k).  You can move a Variable Annuity into an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) however, turning non-qualified monies into qualified, meaning you have to follow the rules for IRA&#039;s.

I recommend that you reach out to your Representative who helped you set up your Annuity to talk about options you have available.  Annuities have surrender charges which need to be taken into consideration.
